Lovebirds

 

Like lovebirds ensconced
memories color the perceptions
clicking their beaks
rat-a-tat on my brain
muffling other sounds with feather touch
and generally endearing themselves
to my fragile reality

We walk a tender line blinded in newness
Shades of memories fly across
the face of discovery
while lovebirds dance
resilient by love
strengthened by intent

Lovebirds prints are 8.5"x11" and are of a fine quality suitable for framing
